Shalom, this is Diane Foster of Compassionate Soul Care Ministry. As you can see by the Intro and Title this video is about my Menorah Logo for Compassionate Soul Care Ministry.

I’ve received several questions and comments as to how I came up with this Menorah design so I thought I would make a video explaining how, and the transitions it has been through.

It has developed over a period of several years with periods where no changes were made. This video is about how it happened each step of the way and what revelations the Ruach haQodesh gave me as it transitioned. After re-establishing my life with YahuahI really wanted a design, an emblem representing how I see Him and His Son. Why? I’m not sure, I just did. This was my first design.

Of course, you see the Menorah first. I will say more about it towards the end of this video, but the menorah is the lampstand with the 7 Branch candlestick. Yahuah is the light of the world, and His light shines through His Son Yahusha, who tells us: ‘I am the light of the world.” Seven is the number of divine perfection; no sin was found in Him. We find, according to Rev.1;13 that Yahusha is in the midst of the lampstand.

And in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.  — Revelation 1:13

This is the reason you see Him in this menorah. Thus, the image of the fish. In Matthew 4:19 when Yahusha called His first disciples He said to them Come, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” This was a mandate of sorts of what they were being called to do, just like we are today, we are called to be His disciples, the light of the world.

The first design was soon upgraded. It was too stiff, so I rounded the branches to make the menorah more alive. I was satisfied with this as I now had a menorah that strongly represented our Messiah, the Son of Man, Son of Yahuah. I’m not an artist, far from it, getting those bowls lined up was quite the challenge!

The oil is important because it gives light. Exodus 25:6 oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense;

Yahusha is the light of the world. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

The oil was mixed with spices Exodus 25:6 oil for spices. We read this in. The spice-infused oil was for the anointing of the priest, beginning with Aaron and his sonsExodus 30:25-32.The oil of the menorah burns as The fire of Yahuah. Yahuah is a flaming fire Hebrew 8:29, He makes His Angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire, Pslams 104:4. We are tried by fire and refined by fire.1 Corinthians 3:13Each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.I could go on, there is so much knowledge to the purpose of the oil. Yahusha is now our High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek who made the sacrifice of Himself for us.

Hebrews 5:10 Being designated by Yahuaha High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. He has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Hebrew 6:20

Understanding this causes me to spend time on aligning the bowls!

For me, this brings to mind the verse Yahusha gave to me when I, like the prodigal child crawled back into my Father’s place of refuge. This verse is the life of Compassionate Soul Care Ministry (CSCM), I make mention of it throughout this site. It comes from Isaiah 61:1" The Spirit of Elohim is upon Me because Yahuah has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. The New Testament witness is Luke 4:18-19. Yahusha was the High Priest above Aaron. Father Yahuah anointed Him to release those in bondage and set the captives free.

When I read these verses, I felt a sense that AbbaYah was letting me know He was there to set me free of my bondage through His Son Yahusha haMashiach. All I had to do was repent, and receive His Spirit. Yahushua said He would send His Spirit to lead and guide us, to teach us all things. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26As His disciples we are to do the same thing. Apostle Paul spoke:

Blessed be Elohim Yahuah, even the Father of our Messiah Yahusha, the Father of mercies, and the Elohim of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of Yahuah. For as the sufferings of Yahusha abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Yahusha.

— 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Menorah

I was beginning to like my emblem more and more! I actually thought I was done with it until Yah gave me even more improvement. You see, I really wanted this to incorporate all that Yah and His Son represent to me. One evening while working on an assignment I came across a picture of a menorah in a biblical archeological book. I looked at this menorah and as I studied it, a cross appeared in my mind. It’s like I saw it materialize in the picture. It was just one small line that went from the inner bowl to the inner bowl closest to the fish, on both sides, left and right. Talk about excitement!! There was the cross!

Now, some watching this may not care for the cross being on the menorah. I ask you to take another look at this in terms of how our Messiah fits perfectly into the Menorah. Besides Him being the light of the world, and besides Him being in the middle of the Lampstand, besides Him being the High Priest anointed by His Father, He became cursed in order to be sacrificed as an atonement for your sins, my sins, and the sins of the world.

Paul spoke: Yahusha has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Yahshua haMashiach, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14. The Old Testament witness to that is Deuteronomy 21:22-23: "If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,...for he who is hanged is cursed of Elohim. Yahusha was without sin, yet He took on the sins of man so that we would not have to suffer the penalty for sin, which is death Romans 6:23.

And if that wasn’t enough for me, I saw in that cross, not only across but the letter Tav/Taw of the Hebrew Alef-Beit. What is the Tav? It is the last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. Tav wrote as an X, or in paleo, a cross leaning . It means a sign, mark, signature, seal, to covenant. It is the sign of Yahuah.

Ezekiel 9:4 And Yahuah said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a

mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. Mark is H8420 and only appears 3 times in the Old Testament.

Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. This is a powerful story, you should read it. It is interesting that haSatan also causes his worshippers to bear a mark either on their foreheads, or hands. Whether symbolic or literal haSatan is a mocker. But I digress! That cross in the menorah is more than a cross, it represents Yahuah’s sign, mark, and covenant that He is with Israel. And, we as Believers are descendants of Jacob, or by grace, faith, and belief in Messiah haMashiach are grafted into the stomp pf Jesse (Isaiah 11:1).

So how much better could this menorah symbol get? I was talking to a friend asking her if she could make the menorah appear more organic. Though I loved it and had been using it for several years, I began to feel that there was still something more to this menorah. When she presented me with the more organic-looking rendition, I cried because it seemed to capture everything I had in mind. To me, this is so beautiful. You may ask, what of the leaves? Well, let me tell you something. While researching the menorah more I was led to a native plant of Palestine, yes Palestine, called the Salvia palaestina.

I was completely taken by surprised when I came across this flower! Perhaps some of you too are seeing this for the first time. A close-up of this flower shows what appears an exact likeness of the Menorah Yahuah gave to Moses to have built, even to the base!! We can say with a level of confidence that the Salvia Palestina is the flowerYah elected to represent His people!! Amazing! We know with all certainty that Yah loved flowers!!! The menorah is the official symbol of Israel, and it looks like this plant. Which do you think came first, the plant or the menorah?

Untitled design (3)

According to one theory, the shape of this plant served as a model for the menorah. This is a typical North African Hanukkah Menorah. Branches decorated with bract-shaped elements resembling those of Salvia Palestrina.

To this day cities, states and countries have native plants! In these cases, the plant came before the symbol. So, so much can be said about this Salvia Palestina, also called The Tabernacle Flower, search it out!

I could go on, but this video will be entirely too long for its purpose.

So you see, I feel the artist who made my menorah more organic was nudged by the Ruach haQodesh to include the leaves. Leaves are symbolic of healing, also Aaron’s rod budded leaves! So what has been my purpose for making this video? To share the magnificence of this candlestick and to reveal Yahuahplan of salvation illustrated, which includes His Son. As Life Application Yah weaved His plan of Salvation from the beginning to end through His Son Yahshua haMashiach. And more so, it was designed from His flower, the Salvia Palestina! Such a simple, delicate thing, yet mighty! It is my hope and desire that Compassionate Soul Care Ministry fulfills the Will of Yahuah with mighty significance, simply and mightily, that we serve in love on a soul level, and comfort those in need.

I AM the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without ME you can do nothing. — John 15:5
