Shalom brothers and sisters! The Most High has finally released me to share my testimony of how He delivered me out of darkness into His marvelous light so without further ado let me begin. To start, I grew up in the Christian “church” with a formal background in orthodox Christianity and a ground-level understanding of what is commonly referred to as the “Christian” faith…”If you believe in Yahusha (Jesus) the Messiah, you will be saved”; however I did not have a firm understanding of Yahuah, the Father, and His Torah, or the Set Apart Way (Qodesh/Holy) until YEARS later after He set me free from man-made religion and DEVIL WORSHIP (i.e., masonry; yes I said devil worship I will share more later).
I received the good news of Yahusha the Messiah at an early age and made that personal decision to believe and follow Messiah but Yah had to peel back layers of deception I was brought under through organized religion and family influences. During my college years and after going through a breakup from a highly toxic relationship that I knew was not of Yah, I found myself in a continued downward spiral of backsliding and falling further away from the Most High, turning to everything outside of Him, in an attempt to heal my wounds. I ended up getting involved in Greek life by way of joining the business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, my sophomore year, and later during my final spring semester of college before graduating, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
While I wasn’t involved in the inner workings of the first frat, I WAS involved in the inner workings of the sorority which I learned was a huge mistake. I was a legacy, meaning my parent was an active member and had been for at least two years. This gave me a free pass to be admitted into the sorority that I thought I always wanted to be part of. It wasn’t until I went through the initiation ceremony, which involves oath swearing. Oath swearing is required for ALL members joining the organization. I came to the realization I had made a terrible decision; I had opened the door for the enemy to wreak havoc in my life.
Again, ye have heard that it has been said by them of old time, You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto Yah your oaths. But I say unto you, Swear not falsely; neither by heaven; for it is Elohiym’s throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Yerushalayim; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil. (Mattithyahu/Matthew 5: 33-37)
From the moment that I was sworn into my “esteemed” organization through a self-glorified ritual, I started having encounters with the demonic realm.
