CSCM uses a Biblical/Torah-based approach to counseling. After a short introduction, the session opens with prayer. We speak based on Matthew 18:20  “For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I am in their midst.” We also acknowledge the Spirit of Yahuah, His Ruach haQodesh that guides us through the session so that Yah’s Will for the session will, be done.

After prayer, the Intake Form is discussed concerning the client’s needs. This period serves two purposes. First, it allows the counselor to establish rapport and create a safe counseling environment. Second, it gives the client time to discover if they want to continue with counseling. If the client wishes to continue, pricing is discussed. CSCM assigns homework! A small assignment is given which includes filling out a more detailed assessment. This assessment simply allows the client to tell us more about themselves before the longer 1 hr. session begins. This is a one-time process.

If the client decides to join, they receive additional links such as a link to fill out the assessment. Scripture to encourage and strengthen is always given to the client, according to how the Holy Spirit leads. Doing this is always a blessing for the client and counselor.
